This award-winning scientific consultancy provided an impressive range of solutions and services focused on public health, environmental protection, and clean energy. Keen to expand, they identified a need for business development expertise in both corporate strategy and professional sales.

Our first search was for a Director of Group Strategy and M&A. We then went on to find seven Heads of Business Development to address specific areas of consultancy expertise on an international basis. These were Health Physics, Analytical Services, Materials Analysis, Plant Performance and Integrity, Non-Destructive Testing and Clean Energy Solutions. All these candidates needed strong scientific credentials, a deep knowledge of their respective area, and an impressive track record of success in professional sales.

At the end of this process, and with all the new hires in place, our client was in a much stronger position to raise finance for international acquisitions and expand across the globe.
